Trip to the Universal Studios Singapore!

5 January 2012

Hello! I went to the Universal Studios with my good friends. They are my NPCC squadmates for 4 years leh!! Had a really great time. You know why I decided to visit there? It is because almost most of my friends went there before aleady. Then I also feel quite pathetic if I don't go. Though it was a Thursday, the place was CROWDED.

Plenty of unglam photos, because I had a very bad hair day. Plus, I didn't bring my DSLR that day, I was scared that it would go missing so in the end I brought my compact one, which was the the super old one but the quality still not bad la. Arh, this blogpost got photoshop one, so I will do nice nice! Oh yea, didn't took much photo, because apparently my compact camera's battery was spoilt already so it's survival rate was about 1 hour plus only.. so I kinda have very limited photos.

While waiting for the super long Que. to buy the tickets.
From Left: Wai Hin, Yizhan & Quan Le *WE FINALLY GOT OUR TICKETS*
Quan Le like very excited right?
Not bad for my camera's quality right?
A photo with the half eygyption human half long leg dude, half snake cos they had those sharp teeth! I love this photo! I don't know why, cos I look good in it?
So many people...
There are 2 different roller coasters, one is the blue one so called advanced level, and red one is kinda mid level. Excitement rate for the red one 7/10. The blue one is 5/10 and it was too fast,I had a terribly bad headache after that.
Okay, i don't look good in this lol.

Went for a late lunch after that! Guess how much this cost?
I know right? Shocked?

My experience at Kim's Family Food (Korean Food)

I was recommended by my friend Qin Pin to try out this Korean Restaurant that she had been telling about for ages that I really must come and try! She told me that there are more than 10 side dishes they offer and guess what? They are all FREE and refillable. Well to me, I not into Korean cuisine, but I decided to give it a try and experience the authentic food and ambience over at Kim's Family Food! There are 3 outlets in Singapore and we visited the one at 17 Lorong Kilat (near to Nooks DIY Pancakes). Address: Kim's Family Food (Korean Restaurant) 17 Lorong Kilat #01-06 Kilat Court Singapore 598139 Telephone: 6465 0535 (advised to make a reservation before you come) Entrance of Kim's Family Food  Qin Pin and Qi Man's peace twist sign photobomed this pic!  Full house okay! Top 10 Cheap and Affordable Places for Students to eat in Singapore

Most of the time during lecture, my friends and I would be in class whatsapping each other in our own personal group chat discussing about what should we eat after school. (Don't bluff, I bet you done it before too). Usually, we will not be able to think of a location to settle down hence we will end up searching online. Over the entire year, my clique and I have been hopping around places to find the best spot to eat and I have successfully list up some of my top places that we usually will hang out after school. Of course, being students (if you work or not work part-time), we will always be on budget constraint and do not want to spend a lot in a meal. After months of exploration, I would like to recommend some places (you might have been too or might not) that you will probably want to visit with your friends one day! What we usually look out for: 1. Places you can sit and chit-chat for more than 1 hour 2. Pocket-friendly prices (preferably below $25, ranging from $5.50 -
