My experience at 328 Katong Laksa & Awfully Chocolate

Hi guys! Zelia and I finally met up after such a long time and this time we went food hunting instead of an ordinary shopping/movie date. We actually did a lot of things on that day! But it will be in 2 separate posts because I'm a bit particular about food posts so I will just focus on the Katong area!!

We actually had a hard time finding that place because we came down from Bishan and we don't know where to stop at Kembangan, Paya Lebar or Eunos. Well, I suggested Kembangan and we ended up losing our way so we went Paya Lebar and LUCKILY there was a shuttle bus to bring us to 112 Katong Mall. So we explored 112 Katong Mall for an hour and headed out to find food!

and came across the FAMOUS 328 Katong Laksa!
We reached there about 4:30pm and it wasn't crowded at all! So we were kinda having our early dinner/late lunch at the same time.
Small - $4.00
Medium - $5.00
Large - $6.00

Time for some laksa!
Love the focus effect! Look at the mouth-watering, hot, superb bowl of laksa!
Another chio shot of the laksa by Zelia! Can smell the *heavenly* delicious laksa!!
Here's an unglam photo of me!
and pretty Zelia!

haha Zelia told me that

"A good bowl of laksa does not need a pair of chopsticks"

So our efforts of coming down to Katong to eat was not wasted! Haha! 328 Katong Laksa is a must try! ^.^

328 Katong Laksa is located near 112 Katong Mall and Holy Family Church.

So after that we headed to Awfully Chocolate located just opposite 112 Katong Mall to have some cakes and ice cream! (Okay I lied) we actually had that before we went to eat the laksa.

The really tempting and the sweetness of the ice cream, simply just love it!
Zelia tried Cake Of The Day and it was Strawberry Nutella Cake! It was quite a big slice and you can taste the creamy taste of the strawberry ice frosting and the brown colour cream you see is the nutella cream! Haha I thought it was peanut butter!

Another chio photo of Zelia.

and ending of the blogpost with a photo of myself!
Bye! (:

My experience at Kim's Family Food (Korean Food)

I was recommended by my friend Qin Pin to try out this Korean Restaurant that she had been telling about for ages that I really must come and try! She told me that there are more than 10 side dishes they offer and guess what? They are all FREE and refillable. Well to me, I not into Korean cuisine, but I decided to give it a try and experience the authentic food and ambience over at Kim's Family Food! There are 3 outlets in Singapore and we visited the one at 17 Lorong Kilat (near to Nooks DIY Pancakes). Address: Kim's Family Food (Korean Restaurant) 17 Lorong Kilat #01-06 Kilat Court Singapore 598139 Telephone: 6465 0535 (advised to make a reservation before you come) Entrance of Kim's Family Food  Qin Pin and Qi Man's peace twist sign photobomed this pic!  Full house okay! That's why I said you need to make a reservation before you come, if not you will be queueing outside! Btw, this is just part of the restaurant. The is restaurant is combin

Top 10 Cheap and Affordable Places for Students to eat in Singapore

Most of the time during lecture, my friends and I would be in class whatsapping each other in our own personal group chat discussing about what should we eat after school. (Don't bluff, I bet you done it before too). Usually, we will not be able to think of a location to settle down hence we will end up searching online. Over the entire year, my clique and I have been hopping around places to find the best spot to eat and I have successfully list up some of my top places that we usually will hang out after school. Of course, being students (if you work or not work part-time), we will always be on budget constraint and do not want to spend a lot in a meal. After months of exploration, I would like to recommend some places (you might have been too or might not) that you will probably want to visit with your friends one day! What we usually look out for: 1. Places you can sit and chit-chat for more than 1 hour 2. Pocket-friendly prices (preferably below $25, ranging from $5.50 -
