How are you guys doing?

Apparently, I have not been blogging about my life. I've never had a chance to tell you guys what has been going on in my life. 2013 is awesome so far! All the while, I have been blogging about events or food!  (Just to inform you guys la, I have up to 6 more pending blogpost and 4/6 of them are all about food so please keep a look out on my blog for more updates OR you can stalk my instagtam! It is always flooded with food and my friends and readers are forever scolding me, "Damien can you stop posting food pics at night, they are making me hungry!" Though my blog has lack of updates, I always try my best to stay active though my other social media platforms. Now as for now, I plan to have at least 10 post a month!

Some things to look forward in the next few months!

I am an OFFICIAL Strait Times Communities Blogger!  ( Got the widget at my side bar la, so I would appreciate if you just click the link ok! ) Which also means, you can find my blogposts over there ^.^ I will be blogging about music, lifestyle and events! As for my main blog, I will only fully focus on food as for now!
  5. Giveaway? :D Who's ready! I got a whole bunch of stuff to give out! Please also tweet me what you want! @uncletehpeng. I got a few requests for contact lenses already, but I can't guarantee that alright! Other items still okay, like facial products, hair dye, accessories! Just tweet me what you want and I will prepare for the mega giveaway by end of next month!

Q: How about school Damien?!

I have been doing very well in school lately, just a little bit busy with projects now! and I only have 3 friggin weeks to enjoy! How I wish it can be extended! :(

Alright and before I end of this blogpost, this whole week Singapore has been affected by the haze! So I would strongly encourage everyone to take care of yourself alright if possible go to the nearest pharmacy shop to get a mask! Very cheap only! 10pcs @ $4.05 at Guardian!! Hope you guys don't fall sick because the haze is really very terrible. Try to avoid outdoor activities, I actually wanted to bring my ah ma out but the PSI hit like 321 at 10PM yesterday so I decided to drop plans bringing her out. Drink more water and god bless!

My experience at Kim's Family Food (Korean Food)

I was recommended by my friend Qin Pin to try out this Korean Restaurant that she had been telling about for ages that I really must come and try! She told me that there are more than 10 side dishes they offer and guess what? They are all FREE and refillable. Well to me, I not into Korean cuisine, but I decided to give it a try and experience the authentic food and ambience over at Kim's Family Food! There are 3 outlets in Singapore and we visited the one at 17 Lorong Kilat (near to Nooks DIY Pancakes). Address: Kim's Family Food (Korean Restaurant) 17 Lorong Kilat #01-06 Kilat Court Singapore 598139 Telephone: 6465 0535 (advised to make a reservation before you come) Entrance of Kim's Family Food  Qin Pin and Qi Man's peace twist sign photobomed this pic!  Full house okay! That's why I said you need to make a reservation before you come, if not you will be queueing outside! Btw, this is just part of the restaurant. The is restaurant is combin

My experience at KARA Cafe and Dessert Bar (Bukit Timah)

A cozy cafe located along the streets of Bukit Timah, a walkable distance from Tan Kah Kee MRT Station. KARA Cafe and Dessert Bar is no stranger in the neighbourhood as they have been around quite some time. The cafe primary focuses on serving  Los Angeles-inspired “all-day dining” food and healthy eats such as yogurt.  You may wish to know that the cafe is under the popular yogurt chain, Sogurt. Recently, I was invited by the cafe to try out their newly introduced items on the menu which is inspired by a Cali-Asian theme.  Ambience: 7.5/10  Cozy environment to relax and chill with your friends after school. The fixtures are decorated with a nature-inspired theme.  Tropical Smoothies  (Left, Tropical Peach Mango; Right, Chai Avocado Shake), SGD$8.20  I wanted to go for the standard coffee/tea, however decided to go with a smoothie instead. To my surprise, it was refreshing and yummy. I really enjoyed my tropical peach mango smoothie as the drink was well-ba

Top 10 Cheap and Affordable Places for Students to eat in Singapore

Most of the time during lecture, my friends and I would be in class whatsapping each other in our own personal group chat discussing about what should we eat after school. (Don't bluff, I bet you done it before too). Usually, we will not be able to think of a location to settle down hence we will end up searching online. Over the entire year, my clique and I have been hopping around places to find the best spot to eat and I have successfully list up some of my top places that we usually will hang out after school. Of course, being students (if you work or not work part-time), we will always be on budget constraint and do not want to spend a lot in a meal. After months of exploration, I would like to recommend some places (you might have been too or might not) that you will probably want to visit with your friends one day! What we usually look out for: 1. Places you can sit and chit-chat for more than 1 hour 2. Pocket-friendly prices (preferably below $25, ranging from $5.50 -
