My experience at Rocku Yakiniku Japanese Charcoal Grill (Bugis+)

Next up in the Bugis+ Food Trail, we visited Rocku Yakiniku Japanese Charcoal Grill, a fun-filled family restaurant where you can barbecue your own food on the Japanese Charcoal Grill! Perfect place to spend time with your family or catch up with your old school mates. The restaurant is also filled with the MTV Rock Theme so you can listen to those trendy k-pop songs! Hahaha! It's really an entertaining place to hang out actually! Great food, good companion and comfortable ambience! Some of my friends alway pass by this place but never ever went in before! So lemmi bring you around!

How to locate this place?

Rocku Yakiniku Japanese Charcoal Grill
Bugis+ (Formally Known As Illuma)
#04-06

Can you feel the mixture of rock / heavily music influenced feeling here?

I simply love the ambience of the restaurant (sometimes if you are lucky) there will be someone performing on the stage! The charcoals which the restaurant provides were pipping hot and which when some of you guys might be afraid you will smell like BBQ after your meal. Here's a good thing, that they have installed this stove which will absorbed most of the smoke to reduce the smell of it.

WOW! Look at the wide spread of raw food ready to be BBQ-ed!

RockU Prime BBQ Set

$68.00++

To be honest, this is definitely value for money because of the generous amount of meat served. The meat are definitely top quality and very fresh. $68 might be a little pricey for you guys but I strongly feel that it's worth it for the portion that was given and a wide selection. So much variety to choose from you won't even know which to go first. The decent amount can be shared among 2-3 people. (Which I thought it was very worth it). It consisted of Beef, Pork Belly, Pork Sirlon and many more! Something that I would recommend for you guys to try.

Ps: They have buffet prices & promotion packages too! Thus you need to check out their website for more!

Yong Wei demonstrating to us how to peel a prawn without using our hands! He pro lah!

Don't say I never share ah! Hahaa!
