November, I'm halfway there!

Since I have the time to blog, shall take this moment to talk about a few things about my life. Despite lacking of updates, I will always try to keep myself active on my various social media platforms such as Instagram. ( I know, you also know lolol if you get what I mean.) I have been really packed with school work and sometimes I don't even have the time to blog, and I always try my best to slot in events at least once a week in order to stay active in what is around me now. I guess what's the most essential thing I need now is time management, so far so good I guess? I'm able to at least fork out time to study for my school work because I have been put into peer pressure and stress lately. I can't possibly just rip off my brain or burn my whole notes and drink it and that will be considered as studying to me. I feel that I really need to take the time to absorb the content and I'm very SLOW at studying. I always take around 15 minutes to read off a question then process in my mind. The point is clear that I always want to UNDERSTAND and get things right first before proceeding to the next question.

Speaking of which, I'm glad that we have almost reached the middle of November. That's 1.5 more months till 2013 ends. *gives the OMG face*. Time flew so quickly this year and I'm about to turn 19 in 2 more months. I'm happy and glad that the goals made at the starting of the year, almost half of them are all cleared. I just need to stay consistent and perceived in doing what I like to do the best.

Anyways here are some photos that I took recently at Tse Lyn's launched of her Cheese Tarts which I will be blogging about it soon. Apparently the event was held at a photo studio and we had fun playing with the camera! Lots of fun and laugher spent with these people!

Anyways, I will be heading to Bangkok at the end of the year (can't wait to try all the street food which I have been waiting for a very long time!) and I can't wait for Christmas too cos it's the season of thanksgiving and I will be going xmas caroling! #icantwait #okayhypernow

My experience at Kim's Family Food (Korean Food)

I was recommended by my friend Qin Pin to try out this Korean Restaurant that she had been telling about for ages that I really must come and try! She told me that there are more than 10 side dishes they offer and guess what? They are all FREE and refillable. Well to me, I not into Korean cuisine, but I decided to give it a try and experience the authentic food and ambience over at Kim's Family Food! There are 3 outlets in Singapore and we visited the one at 17 Lorong Kilat (near to Nooks DIY Pancakes). Address: Kim's Family Food (Korean Restaurant) 17 Lorong Kilat #01-06 Kilat Court Singapore 598139 Telephone: 6465 0535 (advised to make a reservation before you come) Entrance of Kim's Family Food  Qin Pin and Qi Man's peace twist sign photobomed this pic!  Full house okay! That's why I said you need to make a reservation before you come, if not you will be queueing outside! Btw, this is just part of the restaurant. The is restaurant is combin

My experience at KARA Cafe and Dessert Bar (Bukit Timah)

A cozy cafe located along the streets of Bukit Timah, a walkable distance from Tan Kah Kee MRT Station. KARA Cafe and Dessert Bar is no stranger in the neighbourhood as they have been around quite some time. The cafe primary focuses on serving  Los Angeles-inspired “all-day dining” food and healthy eats such as yogurt.  You may wish to know that the cafe is under the popular yogurt chain, Sogurt. Recently, I was invited by the cafe to try out their newly introduced items on the menu which is inspired by a Cali-Asian theme.  Ambience: 7.5/10  Cozy environment to relax and chill with your friends after school. The fixtures are decorated with a nature-inspired theme.  Tropical Smoothies  (Left, Tropical Peach Mango; Right, Chai Avocado Shake), SGD$8.20  I wanted to go for the standard coffee/tea, however decided to go with a smoothie instead. To my surprise, it was refreshing and yummy. I really enjoyed my tropical peach mango smoothie as the drink was well-ba

Top 10 Cheap and Affordable Places for Students to eat in Singapore

Most of the time during lecture, my friends and I would be in class whatsapping each other in our own personal group chat discussing about what should we eat after school. (Don't bluff, I bet you done it before too). Usually, we will not be able to think of a location to settle down hence we will end up searching online. Over the entire year, my clique and I have been hopping around places to find the best spot to eat and I have successfully list up some of my top places that we usually will hang out after school. Of course, being students (if you work or not work part-time), we will always be on budget constraint and do not want to spend a lot in a meal. After months of exploration, I would like to recommend some places (you might have been too or might not) that you will probably want to visit with your friends one day! What we usually look out for: 1. Places you can sit and chit-chat for more than 1 hour 2. Pocket-friendly prices (preferably below $25, ranging from $5.50 -
