The End Of #CNOS3 - With Great Thanks!

YES! I DID IT!! I came in 2nd Runner Up for this year's Cineleisure Next Online Sensation 3!
(Macham like a dream come true!!)

It was just like a year ago, I was nagging about my 8th place during #CNOS2 and a year later, I climbed to the 3rd place. I'm really glad that I decided to go for a second try. The story started in January when I told myself that I couldn't join #CNOS3 cos it was crashed with my examinations. (I thought that the date would crashed since I knew the competition would begin around early March.) However, this year the contest was changed to mid March which was immediately after my final papers. I'm was pleading with excitement thus I decided to join this contest together with my buddy Noelle! We're both returning contestants and decided to give another shot to run for the title!

Noelle was the First Runner Up for the contest! I was really happy for her when the host announced her name! She sure put in a lot of effort into her work and I'm glad that she totally deserves it! If you didn't know, Noelle was 4th place last year which was so close to the 3rd! I'm glad that we're both given a chance to shine this year and I was able to work with her for the first challenge! If you don't recall see this video! (This will 100% confirm leave you laughing non-stop XD)

We emerged came in first for challenge 1!! I'm really glad that all the filming and recording all paid off! I can bet that we made almost all the viewers laughing ridiculously after watching the video! (The video above). It was kinda my first time dressed as a nerd as we walk about Orchard Road. Well, like they always say #YOLO!! You only live once, if you don't try, you won't know!

After ransacking my closet for 1 hour, I manage to find the perfect outfit for the finals! I decided to go denims because you will never go wrong with it! Initially my denim jacket was supposed to be a lighter blue one but it was too oversized for me and I asked opinions from my friends whether the one i'm wearing (on top) suits me or the lighter blue one. I found out that if your jacket is too huge and oversized, it makes you look larger in size!

The second runner up prize was presented by Sheila Mandy, Shenny Yang (Overnight Sensation of #CNOS2) and also the management of Cathay Organization.

I'm really glad that I have so many supportive friends by my side although they were not able to attend the finals but their thoughts still counts! I really never thought that I would win something but these are one of those moments in my life that I ever walked away with a large prize!  Makes a new milestone in my life XD! It was totally unexpected but I'm glad that all my efforts paid off.

I would like to thank my lovely team members for each individual challenge:

Challenge 1:
Noelle  & Vivian

Challenge 2:
Suan Yee & Luna

Challenge 3:
Regine & Natalie

MOST THOUGHTFUL PERSON GOES TO:

I'm really glad that my best buddy was able to come and help me for Challenge 3 because I had a shortage of a team member and I needed help for the photo booth. Gabriel was supposed to prepare for his enlistment as his about to enter the Navy soon but he took out the time to come and help me instead of spending time with his family and friends! I'm really glad and touched that I have such a great friend who is always very supportive and willing to help me when I need help. He is probably annoyed now because I kept on thanking him non-stop! Can't blame me ok! He is an avid photographer and I must praise his passion in taking photos! THANK YOU GABRIEL!

I will strive to become a better food and lifestyle blogger in terms of taking better photos and also writing comprehensive content! I'm really thankful for all the opportunities and I know this is just the beginning, there are much more to come. Thank you for everyone's support throughout these 2 years. I won't give up this passion as I'm gonna make my way through no matter how hard it is.

Lastly, Praise God!

My experience at Kim's Family Food (Korean Food)

I was recommended by my friend Qin Pin to try out this Korean Restaurant that she had been telling about for ages that I really must come and try! She told me that there are more than 10 side dishes they offer and guess what? They are all FREE and refillable. Well to me, I not into Korean cuisine, but I decided to give it a try and experience the authentic food and ambience over at Kim's Family Food! There are 3 outlets in Singapore and we visited the one at 17 Lorong Kilat (near to Nooks DIY Pancakes). Address: Kim's Family Food (Korean Restaurant) 17 Lorong Kilat #01-06 Kilat Court Singapore 598139 Telephone: 6465 0535 (advised to make a reservation before you come) Entrance of Kim's Family Food  Qin Pin and Qi Man's peace twist sign photobomed this pic!  Full house okay! That's why I said you need to make a reservation before you come, if not you will be queueing outside! Btw, this is just part of the restaurant. The is restaurant is combin

My experience at KARA Cafe and Dessert Bar (Bukit Timah)

A cozy cafe located along the streets of Bukit Timah, a walkable distance from Tan Kah Kee MRT Station. KARA Cafe and Dessert Bar is no stranger in the neighbourhood as they have been around quite some time. The cafe primary focuses on serving  Los Angeles-inspired “all-day dining” food and healthy eats such as yogurt.  You may wish to know that the cafe is under the popular yogurt chain, Sogurt. Recently, I was invited by the cafe to try out their newly introduced items on the menu which is inspired by a Cali-Asian theme.  Ambience: 7.5/10  Cozy environment to relax and chill with your friends after school. The fixtures are decorated with a nature-inspired theme.  Tropical Smoothies  (Left, Tropical Peach Mango; Right, Chai Avocado Shake), SGD$8.20  I wanted to go for the standard coffee/tea, however decided to go with a smoothie instead. To my surprise, it was refreshing and yummy. I really enjoyed my tropical peach mango smoothie as the drink was well-ba

Top 10 Cheap and Affordable Places for Students to eat in Singapore

Most of the time during lecture, my friends and I would be in class whatsapping each other in our own personal group chat discussing about what should we eat after school. (Don't bluff, I bet you done it before too). Usually, we will not be able to think of a location to settle down hence we will end up searching online. Over the entire year, my clique and I have been hopping around places to find the best spot to eat and I have successfully list up some of my top places that we usually will hang out after school. Of course, being students (if you work or not work part-time), we will always be on budget constraint and do not want to spend a lot in a meal. After months of exploration, I would like to recommend some places (you might have been too or might not) that you will probably want to visit with your friends one day! What we usually look out for: 1. Places you can sit and chit-chat for more than 1 hour 2. Pocket-friendly prices (preferably below $25, ranging from $5.50 -
